Cyprus

Cyprus is a small island. Its geographic location makes it an interesting and exciting destination with influences from Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Its ancient and recent history make it a fascinating country to explore. The sparkling waters and beautiful beaches compliment the inland hillsides and mountain landscapes.

Larnaca is one of the oldest, continuously inhabited cities in the world. It has an abundance of sights to see and things to do for all ages throughout the year. Whether it's strolling along the palm tree fringed promenade and stopping for lunch or a beer, or visiting the museums and monastries. If you are there in winter the salt lake adjacent to Larnaca airport has pink flamingos stopping off to refuel!

Beach near Pyla.

Pyla

Pyla Village is the only community in the Republic of Cyprus where Turkish and Greek Cypriots live in harmony under UN control after the 1974 troubles. A main feature of the village illustrating this peaceful coexistence is the village square with Turkish café on one side and Greek the other. You can also hear the church bells in the morning and the call to prayer, from the mosque, in the evening. Residents of the village are very friendly and it is well worth
spending time exploring the traditional streets, shops
and places to eat and drink.

A friendly welcome.
